I have always been wrong

The famous trader Jesse Livermore once said that the only thing traders need to do is assess the overall trend. And I am always confused by the trends of the moment. It was like this one minute, and then like that the next minute; I am always led by the trend, going up and down, unable to find direction. Just when I finally guessed the direction correctly, I was too cautious to maximize profits. Well, it’s like picking sesame seeds and losing watermelons, or rather, always losing watermelons. I always want to chase the trend but can never catch it, always disturbed by small fluctuations. But when I look back, I see that the trend indeed moved that way. Yet in the trend, because of the fluctuations, I changed my mind, going up and down, up and down. Now I realize why trading is so exhausting. Actually, you don’t need to do it that way. You can trade fully automatically. I could have done it according to the trading plan at the beginning, but later I became more and more unclear about those points. My mind was like a tangled mess, unable to calm down. I thought, why bother? It’s unnecessary. Just catch the trend and let automated trading handle it. Martingale or grid trading can be done. You don’t need to operate chaotically. As long as you catch a direction, a big direction, you can enjoy the best and most profitable part. So today, I am adding a new trading approach. Previously, I was doing 5-minute and 15-minute trades, and it was okay when encountering a one-sided market. However, when faced with a slow rise followed by fluctuations, or a rapid rise followed by fluctuations, it becomes very difficult. Therefore, I want to incorporate a new trading approach, focusing on the 1-hour to 4-hour trend. I will revert to Martingale or grid trading, assess a big direction, and then directly engage in fully automated trading without worrying about it. This can minimize emotional impact as much as possible.
